1.Marketing
We engage in the following activities in our marketing business:
(1)Direct marketing
In the contact center operated by our company, on behalf of client companies, we sell products and services to end users, make appointments for visits, and so on through such channels as phone contact, direct visits, and online contact by our Group’s communicators (our staff who conduct direct dialogue with end users of client companies through direct marketing channels). As specific examples of products and services handled, in the telecommunications infrastructure sector, which is one of our principal target markets, we conduct the sale of communication lines (fixed-line and mobile communications), communication terminals, and other incidental services. As an insurance agency, we also propose insurance products for general consumers.
(2)Consulting
Capitalizing on our information assets accumulated through direct marketing, in line with the issues and objectives of client companies, we provide services ranging from the formulation of strategies and plans regarding sales and marketing strategy to system building and actual operation. Our wide-ranging consulting covers such matters as contact center operation, product development, sales personnel training, and market research.
(3)Business process outsourcing
By means of the consignment of incidental business relating to the sales and marketing activities of client companies, we engage in work supporting the labor saving and simplification of troublesome work, including the batch undertaking of tasks that are costly and time-consuming for the company concerned. Specific examples include consigned work for concluding contracts between end users and client companies and consigned work involving promotion media, such as direct mail.
(Note: Promotion media means media other than the mass media and Internet.)
2.On-site business
As a human resource dispatch business (worker dispatch business and fee-paying and free-of-charge job introduction business), we dispatch communicators and other personnel to the sales and marketing sections of client companies, as well as to the marketing businesses of our Group companies.
